Dr. Tiffany Tarrant returned home to Houston and joined HWCA in August 2008. she grew up in Clear Lake, TX and graduated from Clear Lake High School. She attended Vanderbilt University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and then returned to Nashville for her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. During her residency, she represented Vanderbilt University at district and nationwide functions of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She participated in research related to pregnancy outcomes in patients with mechanical heart valves. In addition, she was also honored with an award of appreciation for her collaborative teamwork efforts with the nurse-midwifery faculty practice. Dr. Tarrant's professional interests include minimally-invasive surgery using laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, general obstetrics and gynecology, and utilizing an evidence-based practice style. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and the Lonnie S. Burnett Vanderbilt Ob/Gyn Alumni Society. She enjoys sports of all kinds and spoiling her two miniature dachshunds. Dr. Tarrant sees patients at the Main Office, Angleton, and Pearland.
