About Our Clinic

Houston Women's Care Associates (HWCA) consists of 10 female Obstetricians and Gynecologists and 4 Certified Nurse Practitioners dedicated to the care of women of all ages.

In 1998, Dr. Rachel Thompson, Dr. Tracey Samuels and Dr. Joann Samora-Mata along with practice administrator Connie Dupre founded the group with a goal of forming lasting relationships and providing high quality care to women through all stages of life.

Their vision has enabled the formation of an all female group that offers a full range of services including:

All physicians are on staff at The Woman's Hospital of Texas near the Texas Medical Center where they provide obstetrical care and perform gynecologic surgery.

Outpatient surgery is also performed at Fannin Surgicare.

Patients are seen at the Main Office in the One Fannin Building and at The Woman’s Place satellite clinics around the greater Houston area. (See Office Locations)

We are pleased to announce that Houston Women Care Associates has a brand new Aesthetic Center! Dedicated to the treatment and rejuvenation of the skin, the Aesthetic Center is featuring a state of the art laser system that will treat veins, flushing of the skin, and acne. The laser is also great for hair removal and skin tightening for all areas, even the abdomen and neck. See our "Aesthetic Center" site for more details.

We accept most major insurance plans. The insurance specialists at HWCA will gladly assist you in verifying specific benefits.
